Statistics
The signal provider statistics present data-related events that occurred during the price monitoring of the signal. When a signal has multiple targets, each target will be monitored until there are no longer group members with active trades on the signal or the stop-loss indicated by the signal is reached.
While there may be users who accept the admin management strategy through take profit calls, there are other users who follow the trade through Anny's automation only and these take profit calls don't determine the end of the trade for them.
It's important to establish that price target statistics don't represent PnL and they exist to support the calibration of the multitude of strategies available to each user.
Find below important aspects of the method of price monitoring:
- The entry price is the average between the max and min prices of the entry range
- The resulting gains or losses may or may not represent your actual trade. The results represent the average entry versus the maximum exit outcomes found from the moment the prices start to be monitored until the price hits the stop-loss indicated by the signal or there are no longer active members on the signal.
- Your own results will depend on the actual entry price and which exit strategy you have adopted. Naturally, as you manage your risk exposure, your gain potential gets compromised. For example:
- By changing your stop-loss position too often or too close to the actual price, the likelihood that you will exit before a target is met is higher.
- You may choose to make intermediate take profits, or your trailing stop strategy leads you to exit the signal before a target was met.
- A signal results in a direct loss when the first target reached is actually the stop-loss referenced upon signal submission or when the signal admin has sent an update for the stop-loss position (trailing stop signal) and it results in a negative yield.
Here is an explanation of each column:
Hits |
How many signals hit the target Note: Signals that hit higher targets are counted in the previous one as well |
Hit rate |
Hit rate percentage refers to the total number of signals that hit the target. Note: Signals that hit higher targets are counted in the previous one as well. For example: signals that reached Target 3 will have their Targets 1 and 2 also counted. |
Accumulated |
Simple sum of the percentage of each target hit. Note: Signals that hit higher targets are counted in the previous one as well. For example: Signals that reached Target 3 will have their Targets 1 and 2 also counted. |
When selecting "Display net values" the calculation of the net value considers the liquidation calls as its primary function is to support the hit rate of the signal group in the period, also serving cases in which the stop is not sent.
The calculation of net values deducts:
- Liquidation calls before hitting target 1
- Stop loss calls before hitting target 1
- Signal's Stop-loss reached before target 1 and where no liquidation or stop-loss calls were sent.
Note: Calculation is not target 1 minus stop loss minus liquidation signal. You can't deduct 2 times.
Either hit stop-loss, or hit take profit signal, or hit stop-loss signal. The exit can only be one, in this case, the one that happened first.
By generating the CSV file it is possible to verify better because it shows the timestamps of all targets.
Milestone | The maximum target that was reached while there were active members on the signal |
Gain last target | The highest yield reached from the last target |
Stop gain signal |
This column is for managed signals. It shows the yield of the last stop gain signal sent by the admin (social trading). When the price is reached, this column will show a green tick mark. Note: if you make use of managed signals, without any additional automation or interference, the results of this column will be very close to your actual results. |
Take profit signal | This column is for managed signals. It shows the yield of the last take profit signal sent by the admin (social trading). When the price is reached, this column will show a green tick mark. Note: if you make use of managed signals, without any additional automation or interference, the results of this column will be very close to your actual results. |
The purpose of these statistics is to provide insights and transparency for your trades.
When exporting the csv file many other fields are also shown:
- Symbol
- Currency (BTC or USDT)
- Exchange
- Account (Spot or Futures)
- Signal type (long or short)
- Last target reached
- Spread (users and group members make use of this information as it shows the greatest value achieved by Anny's monitoring. It's not the highest profit, that is, this value doesn't represent the explicit profit of any user)
- PnL last target
- Stop-gain signal
- Take profit signal
- Milestone target and Gain target
- Issue date
- Last milestone
